Set Goals, exchange and Omit

Here are a few, which I call “no no/ limited use carbs”.The good old baked potato.

Replace the white potato with a sweet potato or yam.One medium size is a serving. Yams and sweet poatatos no only taste good plain but has more nutrients and fiber.

Replace white rice with brown rice. white rice is processed, stripping it of all  valuable nutrients and plus has no taste{ except the taste of the sauce or gravy you put on it}

Begin today. Omit sugar. No cookies , cakes anything with white sugar. This is probably one of the most differcult for most people.(but dont worry, we will introduce sugar back into your diet a little later on}. You will with drawn. Its called a sugar addiction.( it is said that the average person will lose 10 lbs in a year just by omitting sugar from your diet)

Drink 2 % milk instead of whole milk.{ personally I never got use to fat free milk) Fat Free is better, if you can tolerate it.

As you can see.Simple changes. One change at a time….
